Obituary of Margaret Pawlowski

Margaret E. Pawlowski (nee Baxendell), 90, of Vermilion, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 22, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 12 years moving from Sheffield Lake.

Margaret worked in the school cafeteria for Sheffield Middle School for 12 years.

She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake. She enjoyed cooking, providing for her family, sewing, reading, and spending time at their cottage at Pymatuning Lake in Pennsylvania. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Donald (Sandra) Pawlowski of Sinking Springs, PA, Steve (Nancy) Pawlowski of Amherst, Edward Pawlowski of Clarksfield, and Alan Pawlowski of Vermilion; grandchildren, Jennifer Massie, Anthony Pawlowski, Colin Pawlowski, and Lauren Pawlowski; great grandchildren, Jaden and Sophia Massie and Kaylee Pawlowski; sisters, Edna Richter of Jamestown, PA, Donna Fleckenstein of Pittsburgh, PA, Laverne Roell of Bridgeville, PA, and Mary Lynn Mervosh of Carnegie, PA; brothers, Jack Baxendell of Jamestown, PA, James Baxendell of Pittsburgh, PA, Bill Baxendell of Easton, MD, and Ron Baxendell of SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Pawlowski; parents, Howard and Margaret (nee Loveland) Baxendell; her sister, Betty Jean Baxendell; and her brother, Charles Baxendell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 12 Noon until the time of a funeral service at 2:30 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. The Rev. Ron Brickner will officiate.
